We’re coming out of lockdown, summer is on its way and there’s one thing on our mind. Gorgeously, glowing skin.
There’s never been a better time to kickstart your journey to more glow, but you don’t have to just take our word for it. It turns out our fav lil’ supplement is loved by a shed loada celebs too.
“What’s your beauty secret?”
Like a secret sauce spoken of by skincare’s elite, collagen has fast become a skincare super hero that’s whispered between the walls of a-list dressing rooms, makeup artists and beauty editors' desks.
Luckily for us, our fav stars have selflessly shared their beauty secrets with journalists. And it turns out, along with botox, fillers and vampire facials, lil’ old collagen has made the beauty routines of some of the world’s most gorgeous stars.
Let’s take a look at the stars who swear by the c-word.
Khloe Kardashian
Khloe started taking collagen supplements after she stopped breastfeeding her baby, True. Talking to People magazine in New Zealand, she said: “After I was done breastfeeding, there was a big change in my hair and I'm assuming it's from my breastfeeding [because that] is what I was told.”

Kourtney Kardashian
It turns out collagen might be a family affair, as the oldest Kardashian is also a fan. (And let’s admit it, they might also be helped out with a little nip and tuck here and there but they do all look pretty god damn good.)
She posted on her online magazine, Poosh, that she always starts her day with a glass of collagen.
She says: "I do it on an empty stomach for maximum benefits and kick-start my protein intake for the day (it has nine grams of protein in it). This not only helps me recover from workouts easier, but I've personally noticed a major difference in my skin, hair, and nails due to the hyaluronic acid and vitamin C in this blend.”

And yes, whilst that does make us feel old. It gives us hope that post - 50 we can also look just as gorgeous.
She told Well+Good, “There's a collagen peptide that I've been loving. I've been seeing a difference! My nails are stronger and there's a healthier... how do you explain it? A glow. It's sort of that working from the inside-out thing.”
We hear ya, sista!
